Brand New Readers, summer fun

My daughter will be entering the first grade, and I wanted to get her something to encourage her reading but will work on her reading skills before she goes back to school and lo and behold I found these little gems.

It is a box set that comes with begginner reader books. The set includes: 10 books to read, a parent guide, a chart to record progress, a sticker sheet that comes with a sticker which corresponds to each book to post on the chart for a means of reward for the little one everytime they finish a book, a certificate for when they complete all books, and last but not least a blank book for them to write their own story, illustrate it, and even illustrate the cover and title it themselves...the back even has a place for a summary and little illustration.

What a great find!!! And my daughter is loving it, which is the best part.

Hello World!

I decided if I'm going to start a book blog why not aim it towards the books I read the most...Children's Books!!! I loved reading anything I could get my hands on growing up and now still read them to my little ones. I'm excited. This blog isn't about how many followers I can get, it's simply about the enjoyment of reading and encouraging my little ones to read, and the great books we discover on the way.
